The Sleepwalker/ La Somnambule is a 40 minute bilingual performance piece with movement, object manipulation, text and interaction with the audience.
Dada inspired and constructed as a cut -up piece, it takes the participants into the night where the heroin of this story suffers from somnambulism and has several dreams.
In these dreams she meets archetypes like the wolf man, the rabbit girl, the prince charming and the stern grand mother.
In the end the fine line between sleep and reality is not clear and with the help of the audience the dawn of the day finally arrives.
But is that the reality or is this our sleeping state?
Texte-concepte: Jacqueline van de Geer
Tran sonore-soundtrack: Karl Turpin & Jacqueline van de Geer
Outside eye-oeil exterieure: Lucas Jolly
